Augustino's Rock Roll Deli Grill

I used to be a regular at Augustino's, but their recent pricing changes have raised some eyebrows. Last year, I stopped by for some Italian ice, and it felt like the price suddenly doubled overnight, despite inflation being around 10%. In their world, though, it seems like it's 100%! They hadn't even updated the drive-thru menu to show the new prices. When I asked the cashier about it, he mentioned that other customers had already voiced their concerns, but the owners didn't seem to care. Fast forward to this weekend, and I decided to give them another chance, only to find a $1 service fee for placing an online order. It seems like they’re taking a page out of Ticketmaster's playbook! While I think the food is good, the pricing can be questionable depending on what you order.

The food was absolutely incredible and fairly priced. However, ever since the owner passed away a few years ago, the quality has declined significantly, and the prices have soared. I really wish Augi were still around. It's been years since I've had a meal there, and the experience was really disappointing. A 6-inch sub now costs nearly $12, when that used to be the price for a 12-inch sub. It's just outrageous! I understand that prices have risen, but not to this extent. I ordered takeout, and the service was fine.

Consistently the best sandwich in the area! I recommend the combo with red sauce, sweet peppers, provolone, and raw onions. Don't forget to get it dipped! Service was for takeout. Meal type: Dinner. Price per person: $20–30.

As for kid-friendliness, you don’t have to worry; your kids will fit right in with the lively noise. Service was good, and I enjoyed my takeout for lunch. In terms of pricing, it’s quite affordable, generally between $1 and $10 per person.
