Volkswaffle - Carmichael

This is my wife’s and my absolute FAVORITE spot to grab a bite before traveling or when we're out and need something quick. The waffles are incredible, and the owner is incredibly friendly. I genuinely look forward to seeing the owner just as much as I look forward to the waffles. I can't recommend this place highly enough! Food: 5/5

Instead of waiting for me to move, he started to pull forward as I was trying to get my car out. I politely asked him to let me have a moment, but he kept insisting he needed that specific spot. I pointed out that there were numerous spaces available and that he could at least allow me to get out first. He responded by yelling at me and claimed that he needed a crane to access where I was parked, even though he intended to park in the same spot. I told him he could have approached me with respect instead of yelling. He continued to be rude, parked his car, and when I tried to talk to him, he suggested I should go and park elsewhere, which felt like a threat. He then walked across the parking lot to a different business instead of going to the one he claimed to work at. If the parking lot had been busy or cluttered, I wouldn't have parked in that manner, as I understand it would be inconsiderate to others. In this case, there were over ten available spots close to the building, as well as more options behind it. His aggressive behavior and shouting were completely unnecessary, especially since he didn’t even go to the business he claimed to work for. While I acknowledge that my parking may have been an inconvenience, given the many open spots and the absence of other cars, he didn’t need to act rudely. I took full responsibility and tried to comply. If this is how he behaves as a business owner or employee, he should reconsider his approach, as this kind of treatment will drive potential customers away.

WHAT A DELIGHT! After passing by several times during less-than-ideal moments, I finally decided to stop and give it a shot. It was definitely worth it. I enjoyed a fantastic waffle and excellent coffee. I'll definitely return. Service: 5/5

Wow!!! Very DELICIOUS WAFFLES!!! SUPER SOFT AND FULL OF FLAVOR WITH FRESH INGREDIENTS!! Terry was very sweet and kind! His service was quick and he is very kind! The quality is amazing!!! This is definitely a spot to go to when you are craving waffles that are fresh unique and tasty!! They also have coffee and tea here! Thank you Terry for the great food

First time visiting this little shop and it was the most pleasant experience I've had in a very long time. Delicious waffles, paired with yummy fresh drinks (we had the strawberry) and the most excellent service, I almost was transported to a different world.
