Cantinetta Luca - Carmel By the Sea

He had heard from many others of this place and had to try it himself! all I can say. I am sure, back and the staff was very nice, even made great suggestion, since it was my first time to eat there!

It is a good but not unforgettable or excellent restaurant.

We celebrated my friend's birthday here! The staff reserved us a table for this occasion. They were all very sweet and remembered to wish my friend a happy birthday! The food was fresh and the dessert, Panna cotta, was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious!

We were a group of five, but the server only brought the order of four. I complained twice and the order came only after everyone had finished the meal. Very disappointing

Food was all right... Lamb was very tasty, but pea shoots on the top were hard and unusable, could not find that one out. Swordfish was okay, little taste. The mint and parsley on the top was exaggerated, unnecessary and not the olives, caps and tomatoes. Server tried to oversold everything and not personal. Overall mediocre birthday dinner got the price. Can't or can't go back.
