California Market at Pacific’s Edge

Great view and awesome service. Good value for money.

Pacific's Edge was a disappointment due to extremely slow service. We didn't receive our food until almost an hour after being seated. That said, the view is fantastic, of course, and the food was very good, albeit not great and certainly not inexpensive. Also, parking isn't easy,;valet will be required for most people.

The view and the food can’t be beat but the service was lacking. Basically they dropped our food off and there was no quality check , coffee refills or plate clearing before they just dropped the bill off. Still a nice experience but it could have been much better.

The view is undeniably stunning, but unfortunately, the food and service left much to be desired. The orange juice was disappointing—it tasted like a store-bought brand, not freshly squeezed. My husband’s cocktail was poorly made, and for $18, we expected much better quality. The service was slow, and while the French toast was decent, nothing stood out. It feels like the restaurant relies on the view to justify the high prices, but the overall experience just wasn’t worth it. Sadly, we won’t be returning as there wasn’t anything memorable beyond the scenery.

The service was the worst I think I’ve ever had. We waited 30 minutes to order a drink after we asked to order. The waiter took our order 3x. We waited 1.5 hours for a soup and salad. Then when we asked for the check he asked what we ordered and said “I know I wrote it down somewhere.” Unreal. The view was great though.
