City Barbeque (carmel)

Tuesday is rib night at City BBQ. The regular price for a bone rib is $3. On Tuesday, it's buy one, get one. So, $3 for 2 rib bones. We got 20 bones. They were very meaty. Not much fat at all. We ate 10 and took 10 home for leftovers. We will definitely order them again. The sides were good too. We had the potato salad and the green beans. The beans were nicely seasoned. We topped off the dinner with warm peach cobbler. It came with whipped topping. Would have preferred ice cream ... but that's me. Service was good. Staff was friendly.

The greeter is very pleasant and very helpful too The menu has everything you could ask for at a bar b q chain. Service is quick and efficient. The brisket sandwich was a good proportion and quite flavorful. I'm not a fan of how the brisket is basically chopped not sliced. The Mac and cheese is good but not great. Just lacks some flavor.

This was a decent spot to eat. The texture of pulled pork and brisket were really good. My daughter enjoyed her sandwich. The Mac and cheese was not liked. No one liked the cornbread either.

Excellent food. Jennifer greeted us with an offer to sample anything we wanted. She was upbeat and pleasant. Food was prepared quickly and did not disappoint.

We order a pound of pork and about half was edible. It was full of burned fat. We. 'Ll find a new place when we crave bbq!
