Immigration and was immediately greeted with smiling faces a beautiful fire. in just a few minutes I shared with the local pints and laughed with them when we were struggling and local struggling. the owner, robin, is a fascinating and friendly man who had the most brilliant adventurous; if they are lucky, he will tell them about some. ask for his handmade waterfall fountain, it is fantastic! the drinks were fantastic and very cheap, and some nights make a local cooking pizza in the garden that is lovely positiw. the pub itself is really beautiful. dach, a stone floor, a cozy fire, gorgeous wood beams, and so much warm and history; they can literally feel that hundreds of years have been great nights there. I had the honor to meet some really outstanding people, including wynn, a regular they laugh, so hard the drinking come, but also incredible strata about wales and his folk can tell. all in all, I had one of my best pub nights here. it was one of the perfect nights where the right people gather in the right atmosphere and the result is something similar to the magie. if they are in the opposite, I suggest to enter for a pint.
Popped in for a quick pint and it was lovely and welcoming. Met the landlord and landlady who were both very chatty and made sure we were happy with our drinks.
Visited here whilst on a short break in West Wales. The pub is old fashioned (in a good way) with low ceilings and beams. good selection of beers etc. on offer. Had food here, classic pub food I had the very tasty chicke...curry half 'n' half. Also dog friendly. Recomended for a visit.
Myself, husband and dog visited yesterday evening for a meal as we were staying in a holiday cottage just along the road. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed a good plateful! The menu is quite simple and basic but the food served...was lovely and hot, tasty and plentiful. If you want a dog friendly local and a tasty plate of food it's well with a visit.
Visited Kidwelly Castle and looked for somewhere to have lunch that was dog friendly, The Masons Arms was a short walk and had a friendly welcome from staff and locals. Ordered 2 chicken curry’s with chips and rice and a large portion of lasagna which...came with chips, peas and garlic bread. The home cooked food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Five stars from us and will definitely call in again if we are in the area again.
