Lovely location . Waitress was lovely too. Had our starter very promptly but had to wait ages for the main course and it wasn’t that busy ! Food nice but overpriced . The sea bass was cooked well and tasty but the sauce was totally uninspiring. It could be so good there !

45 mins wait for the main course. No salads on the menu. Chose Truffle chicken with gnocchi. It was as if the dish had been kept under the warming lights for 30 mins. The chicken breast was dry and tough, the gnocchi was burnt and as dry as leather. Very poor, expensive and will not be returning. Pity as the ambience and views are first class, a wasted opportunity to create something special.

I attended the restaurant on a Saturday night we were a group of 15. When we arrived we had to ask to add another table because we were all squashed and couldn't move. Staff were very obliging. We had preordered our meals and to be fair everything came out perfectly. My meal was very disappointing 2 cod skewers with vegetable rice. I had 3 pieces of cod on a skewer with a tiny piece of red onion between the cod and the vegetable rice was a small dish of boiled rice with peas no other veg. Other peoples meals were great. I chose the wrong thing. Some of our group tried to order extra chips to bulk up but at 8.20pm we were told the kitchen was closed. Most of the group refused to pay £7.50 for dessert but I was so hungry I ordered apple crumble which I must say was delicious. We sat in the bar drinking for the rest of the evening spending quite a bit of money but at 10.45 we were told it was last orders. We were the last group of people there. Think the staff wanted an early finish. Very disappointing visit not the standard we had expected.

Food was fantastic. Really fresh and well prepared. We both had the fish of the day and it was one of the nicest meals I’ve had in a long time. Great value for money. The lady who served us was great, really concerned about getting us exactly what we wanted especially for my Mam who was celebrating her 75th. So glad we chose to come here.
