We used to live in Carman just over a year ago. We absolutely loved McGee's, back then, we would bring our friends here and they agreed that they loved it too. We recently took a road trip back to the Carman area, and certainly we are going to visit our old favourites along the way! ..But coming back to McGee's, there was just something off... the staff atmosphere felt a lot less inviting compared to what we remembered, and the quality of the food has drastically declined vs what we had before. our fries and potato wedges tasted extremely bland, several items that we once loved on the menu were no longer available. so, we decided to try one of the new items instead, but it wasn't really all that amazing, or packed for take out very well (all kinda stuffed together into one container, i expected the fries to be at least packed separate from the rest of the mushroom schnitzel i got) Im assuming it has a lot to do with the rising costs of food prices and the current economy, which is just sad. it was also sad to come to town and find out the local pizza place as closed down for just this reason.
