Brother Dough Pizzeria Caffe - Carlton

My experience with this restaurant was quite mixed. The positives include the fact that I have been a regular customer for several weeks, enjoying their good coffee, tasty soups, and well-priced sandwiches. The staff, particularly the ladies, are excellent - friendly, polite, and efficient. However, the lack of atmosphere due to the low customer traffic, uncomfortable tall seats, and cold, windy location under the EPA & Trinity College building are definite drawbacks. Furthermore, one of the owners, who I suspect is responsible for the lack of warmth and engagement, impacts the overall experience negatively. Despite the good food and prices, I am hesitant to give this restaurant more than three stars due to these issues. With so many other options nearby, including QVM, I would likely choose elsewhere if it weren't for the proximity of this place. It's a shame, as there is potential for improvement in the customer service department.

This cafe has a good variety of food, not only pizza. Lunchtime is always busy. It is popular with students from RMIT. University.. Prices are reasonable, I quite enjoyed my visit.

Brother Dough Pizza Cafe was doing good business when I visited, it seems many students from the nearby educational students dine here. The variety of foods is very good, I'd say the prices are around average, but no bargain. I had half of a margarita pizza, including a basil leaf to add a touch of colour. The pizza was good, but nothing to write home about. I also had a tropicano smoothie -- mango, pineapple, banana, milk and yoghurt, which was delicious. The cafe has a very big range of food, you would have to be very picky not to find something here that you like. The cafe interior resembles a warehouse, but it is clean. My bill came to just over $10, a reasonable sum. The wait staff seem to have some difficulty with English, but persistence achieves results.

Grreat choice of soups daily. Love the salmon pizza. Great friendly service and reasonably priced. Great coffee too

The smell was devine and the pizzas were great. The service was slow but they were really busy. It was quite warm and so i think no one wanted to cook. The pizzas were fresh and tasty, but i do like a bit more topping!
