That was our first (and last) time here. Eat was delicious, but we felt like in a factory and the personal was like robots our main thing came out too fast before we were made with our salates, but the salates were quickly removed without considering that we want to finish them (our there is no place on the table for all teller) to make for our main thing. then we were forgotten after the main thing was dropped. I flew our server to fill my empty waterglass and they did just that. the other empty glasses do not fill in the table and it was super loud! we were chatting at a table in the kitchen and the server hanging out there and contributed to the noise level. again the food was delicious, but for the prices, we had a better experience.
Excellent, delicious food, near the water, with attentive service.
They think too much of themselves. overpriced to believe. service arm never got pfeffer on salat, waterglass empty, had to ask for parm loose an adjustment.
FYI Make reservations for an early table it is well worth it. Having seen Vigillucci's while driving around the Carlsbad coast, all we can say is what a wonderful evening of great service, martinis food wine , an amazing view of the setting sun. All with an inviting, classy atmosphere . There's a main front room,(we had a booth there), a very nice separate bar area, a large tent style dining room that was busy, and an outdoor deck area in front, cafe style that looked great for lunch. With our 1sttime dining at this Vigillucci's, I made Sat 11/20 330pm reservations, that were so polite extended by the hosts to 4pm when our Uber scheduled ride failed. The hosts were very pleasant, when we arrived, we asked for an available booth, she led us to one. Our server Andrea, other servers and serv assists did a great job working the room . We had a couple of Greygoose martini's, split a Caesar/calamari app very good. Dinner was salmon for her, perfectly prepared, I went with the 10oz filet which was of very good Nebraska beef. We love visit our wine country, so I went with a bottle of California cabernet. Andrea was spot on, never rushed, had great timing. We love the diverse menu that is done very well. Seafood, pasta. We often visit the Vigillucci's on State St. in Carlsbad for a long lunch, and will always continue to (hi Vivi! the mgr). The service and food is equally as great at both of these restaurants. As a local , I say come to Vigillucci's, you'll be well taken care of. DH
