Norte Mexican Food Cocktail - Carlsbad

The food was delicious. I have the Carne Asada Burrito plate. My husband has Crab Burrito. Definitely recommend! Pic is not amazing. Bad lighting, but the taste of the food was wonderful!

The food was super fresh and the portions were huge. Service was very friendly. The food is not spicy at all, so it is great for anyone. If you prefer extra flavor and spice, be sure to order the chips and salsa.

It was okay, I got the fish burrito and the wife a beef chimichanga. The fish burrito was not as flavorful as it could or should have been (am a fish burrito connoisseur) and my wife’s chimichanga with beans was very, very dry. At first, they brought me a fish taco instead of a burrito and then corrected it. Next, my wife ordered her chimichanga with no sour cream. You guessed it, they put lots of sour cream on it. They needed to remake it, like my meal. The chips and salsa were good and the best thing about it were the drinks. If you go here, go for the drinks. My wife’s margarita was fantastic. Anyway, I was surprised that we were not at the very comped a drink or some sort of discount on our bill for the kitchen messing up both my wife’s meal mine. I’ve been here before Covid and remember it being better. Not sure that I’ll be going back. So, 3 stars for the great drinks and poor service (I would give 2.5 stars if I could).

Five Star!! Excellent quality, large portions, handmade sauce, great service, nice price point! I highly recommend! Thank you Norte!! Great location overlooking the ocean. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Chips and house made salsa the best! Only challenge was parking, shopped in ice cream spot and enjoyed a delicious salted caramel cone for dessert!!

The food was good. Everything is Super Covid compliant, there is no wait staff. You order your food at the desk and everything is packed to go. Beverages are made and sealed with plastic and they have these cute faces and you get a straw that can poke thru like a capri sun. Your food is ready quickly and everything is hot and tasty. You're giving disposable silverware and napkins. You can sit outside by the fire or stay watch the game if you choose. You still order at the cash register or the bar. drinks are made and covered to go glasses. not much has changed all food is packaged to go even if you're dining in. However the customer service is amazing and the staff is super friendly. I had the chicken flautas and they were meaty and tasty.
