Barrio Eat Mexican - Carlsbad

This was a very nice and enjoyable little place to sit down and grab a bite to eat after a nice day at the beach. It was fairly clean and enjoyable to sit at, the food is pretty well priced and comes in very big portions, even this kids meal if pretty big.Overall had a good experience, the staff were nice and friendly and food tasted good

The food was pretty decent, but the customer service experience was not up to par at all, when one of the waitresses was so drunk taking our order, she ask can she sit down and than proceed to sit down.. I?ve never experienced that EVER at arestaurant. than the waitresses started arguing with each other. It was just really unprofessional and it took forever to geta glass of water.

Update: horrible, beyond horrible service. We must have lucked out the first time around. Super embarrassed we brought friends this time swearing how amazing it was only for it to be awful. They also are not kid friendly at all. They should truly taketheir kids menu off the menu to make the message more clear. Never in all my motherhood have I gone somewhere so unfriendly tomy kids. We definitely won?t be returning. Original post: Came across this gem unintentionally and we cannot wait to go back!Highly recommend fajitas and or enchiladas. So good!

The staff is so great here. We come for the margaritas and the food is great as well. Love Carlsbad and love this spot!

For the 2nd time they wanted to charge me extra for a beer I didn't drink, The 1st time I let it go but not this time. I thought the burrito I ate was going to be big but it wasn't, it the same size at the Taco Bell
