I am gluten intolerant and I particularly appreciated the care and attention given both by the kitchen and waiter to make sure that I had just as good an experience as my friends. it was very little that I could not have and all adjustments made, not distract from the quality and characteristics of the courts. I was even provided with a freshly baked krusty gluten-free bread roll, which was delicious and a rare leak for me. everything was from a really high standard, from interior design, to the friendliness and professionalism of the front of the house staff, and above all to the quality of the food. many thanks for a beautiful evening!
Our overnight. I'm a wheelchair driver and the room below fits me very well. eating is exceptional, because the tasting menu and the breakfast and the service is excellent.
Over night. the hotel is modern and comfortable and still retains much of its charm as an old coaching inn. the weather was cold, so the open fires were illuminated, which was very appreciated. bar was good with an excellent selection of gins, one of which is made from botanicals from nearby netherby hall gardens. restaurant was excellent. the tasting menu had a series of excellent dishes. weinflug pairing a little week and more sommelier workout for the team would see something. totalservice was excellent, very friendly and attentive. the breakfast was excellent. eier benedikt with smoked salmon a highlight. hollandaise sauce was perfect with the right amount of sweet and acid. recommend it and stay here.
Amazing eating and well renovated rooms. a wonderful sound! enjoy every morsel of delicious food.
We had dinner here during a stay in the debatable lands near the Scottish border. Loved every bit of the varied tasting menu and the service was very friendly. They served us in the bar area so that we could bring our lovely spaniel too....They also brought a bowl of water for her which we liked. Food was brilliant very subtle flavours but very well done.we paid incl tip and I think it was worth it a meal to remember
