Ghan House - Carlingford

Stayed for 3 nights with one night dinner. Beautiful rooms and very private. Great food in the restaurant. Really enjoyed the tasting menu. Staff were discreet but extremely helpful. Very relaxing. Walked up Slieve Foy from the front door. Amazing views.

Only back from a nice stay in ghan house. stunning location in carlingford village. I rented a bike and the greenway to omeath along a coast path, amazing. the dinner in the restaurant was excellent, very relaxed and pleasant. my room had a beautiful view of the gardens with a beautiful ensuite and handmade soap company care products. I took a walk the next morning before a hearty breakfast. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for guests looking for a historic hotel with modern amenities in a beautiful coastal location.

Myself and 6 lady friends visited Ghan house this weekend and had a super time. Ghan house is nestled in the lovely Carlingford and from the moment we arrived Paul and Orla did everything to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We all had lovely big rooms that have been recently refurbished and spotlessly clean with beautiful deep bathtubs. The Breakfast on both morning had a lovely selection of fruits berries chia seed pots followed by a freshly cooked breakfast to order. The homemade brown bread and pots of tea just kept coming as we all chatted. On Saturday night we booked the private dining room which had a bluetooth facility so we could play our own music. We ate a beautiful 4 course meal with beautiful wines all served by Paul and his team. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Many thanks we will return without hesitation. Ado
