Thai Country Restaurant - Carindale

We visited for dinner on a Friday evening and it was very busy, so much so that we chose to sit outside (in Winter) but at least there was less noise. Their menu is extensive and varied. The food was great - a little more expensive than some places but worth it. Service was brisk and efficient even though the restaurant was busy. They are also open for lunch so we may explore that option in the future as we live nearby. As mains we chose BBQ Octopus, Stir Fry Ginger Chicken & Stir Fry Cashew Beef (see photo of each dish).

Love this place - as close to authentic as we've found in Brisbane. Excellent food, great people and great value for money!

Best Thai around by far. The restaurant is not fancy and a perhaps a little tired but your not eating the chairs so who cares. Very friendly staff.

Thai Country came highly recommended by a friend as the best Thai on the southside. We decided to try one Sunday night for dinner in fairly large group of 10. It was delicious! Everything was amazing especially the green curries. Some curries were a little bit spicy, even though we specifically asked for mild (we had children at the table). The coconut drinks were awesome and so was the coconut rice. This is the best coconut rice I have had in a Thai restaurant. Authentic Thai restaurant, this one is on the top of my list. High chairs available, there is seating inside or out. The toilet is a little inconvenient to get to, it is the at the back of the complex. Not many car parks available onsite, however there is plenty of free street parking.
