Hallowed Grounds Espresso - Carindale

This is a take away coffee but the friendly service draws you in for a nice chat. I came for a latte, which was served piping hot and left feeling connected to barista. She was a really fantastic person. They also have nice take away cakes and pastries. If you want, you can sit in the courtyard.

About time Hallowed Grounds had an up to date review. There were four of us in a family group this morning. There was a constant flow of customers so obviously a very popular Cafe. I ordered Pancakes and it was an extraordinary work of art. Pancakes, caramelised banana, blueberries, strawberries and kiwi fruit, icecream, maple syrup, whipped mascarpone, all topped with pink spun sugar looking and tasting like fairy floss. The other meals were demolished without a murmur of compaint. Portions were almost too generous. Staff were efficient and friendly. Yes we will be back, and where else have I ever seen sparkling water on tap for free? Well done to all involved at this tried and true local cafe. Bronwen Mitchell.

Nice looking cafe, lovely staff, beautiful food, average coffee. Not a lot of seating out of the sun/heat. But loved by locals.

Consistently good coffee but often long waiting times. Once I waited 20 mins for 2 takeaway coffees.

We called in to Hallowed Ground for a quick lunch. The menu was fairly limited but had some interesting items with gluten free options for my wife. The service was friendly and prices were reasonable. Food was well presented and enjoyable. Good cafe with a nice vibe.
