Pizzafarro's - Carefree

I first visited PizzaFarro on Camelback Road in Phoenix around 1975 or 1976, and I’m delighted to say that the Carefree location evokes all those nostalgic feelings. The staff were welcoming, and it's impressive to see Don, the owner and founder, still kneading dough in the kitchen after more than 50 years! That first bite took me back in time, reminding me of riding my single-speed Schwinn with a banana seat, wearing OP shorts and a Kennington shirt, sporting a puka shell necklace, and listening to KISS on KDKB 'Rocks Arizona.' It was perfect!

The food at this restaurant is outstanding! What truly sets it apart, though, is the service—everyone is incredibly friendly. I've visited several times and tried a variety of dishes, each one better than the last. While their pizza is a fantastic option, the pastas and sandwiches are also excellent. I highly recommend this place if you're searching for a great dining spot in Cave Creek.

The pizza here is incredibly fresh, featuring wonderful ingredients and toppings that I will undoubtedly remember for a long time. The owner embodies the true spirit of Italy and has been crafting pizzas for 55 years. If you get the chance, meet him and express your gratitude for the heavenly experience of enjoying such delicious pizza.

Absolutely THE BEST PIZZA ANYWHERE!! We have been enjoying Don’s master pizza making for over 40 years! Today our family travelled from Washington, Phoenix and Sun City West for a birthday celebration that will long be remembered.

Long standing craftsmanship by the owner is what makes the food outstanding. Our party of 9 ranging in ages of 9 months to 71 years enjoyed everything ordered. Wait staff is gracious and helpful!
