Vivia Cafe - Cardwell

We were driving home from Cairns to Townsville and enjoyed a lovely healthy lunch and hot coffees at Vivia's. Hubby had a turkey, Brie and cranberry tomatoes focaccia and I had a vege frittata. Yum, yum,yum! My chai latte was delicious and hubby raved about his cuppacinno. We will definitely be back!

It was quite busy with travellers and locals inside and at outdoor tables, the staff were friendly and pleasant to deal with and the food was good.

Travelling through Cardwell stopped to call into the visitors centre to get some local information. Had a walk over the jetty then across the road we found this lovely cafe. Very nice menu, counter food and excellent coffee plus very nice staff. If driving though or staying in Cardwell hop in and try them out.

I had a nice breakfast there with my boyfriend. Nice view of the island, and the food was delicious.

Called in here for a quick lunch and to sample their crab sando.Cafe was well patronised and had lovely views across the road to the water. Found it interesting that there is a sign out front advertising crab sandos but not on menu.Ordered 2 crab sandos and a Mocha, cost $30. The coffee was very good, the sandos on white bread with pepper & salt lacked presentation on plate, not sure if pricing is justified. We did like sandos and understand the need to keep it simple so that the flavour of the crab is not diminished, but still unsure of price. Some other outlets in Cardwell more expensive.Service was good and good and coffee brought to table.
