Victoria Fish - Cardiff

Gone downhill since our last visit. Ordered Fishcake chips and fish chips. Fish batter tasted saturated in oil like it had been there all day and the fishcake was poor quality. Refused to take card saying cash only. Will not use again.

Food was cold and batter was soggy chips were not very nice. They had a lot of black eyes and bruises on them I asked for a lot of salt and vinegar and there was hardly any seems to calm down hill a little bit from the last time I went joking

Went there last thursday fish and chips, plus the old traditional fruity curry and chips. Bit of a carb overload for 2 of us but bought so many old memories. Also well done to the owners they do a lot of charity work in whitchurch and feed the homeless on christmas day every year.

Regular (Youngers) closed, tried Victoria, big mistake, greasy soggy chips, sausage not great, batter like leather....awful....avoid, its not very good. Seems to be a kebab shop rather than a chippie poss why......shame as used to be good.

Average food apart from the so called spicy curry sauce which was awful. Served by a rather impatient, rude member of staff in front of my wife despite the manager/owner being present)......It was a rather quiet time of day but the guy behind the counter did not seem to have enough patience to deal with a customer who is a little hard of hearing. I had been looking forward to using the Victoria Fish Bar but they have failed to deliver in both the quality of their food and the attitude of their staff.
