The Metropole Lounge - Cardiff

We initially stopped in for a quick drink but ended up staying all night! Shaun welcomed us warmly and took the time to engage with us. The cocktails he made were absolutely fantastic. Both Shaun and Joel appeared to be very knowledgeable about their drinks and were more than willing to create customized drinks based on our preferences. We also tried a couple of burgers from the kitchen which were delicious. We will definitely be returning if Shaun and Joel are behind the bar - they are a true asset to the hotel.

The cocktails made by our waiter/barman Shaun were fantastic. I highly recommend trying his Old Fashioned. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and evening.

This is right inside the hotel light airy smart and easy access to all. A beautiful setting. A very good choice of food and drink. Very clean and tidy.

A group of six friends were in search of a place to relax and have a drink after attending a rugby game on Judgement Day at the stadium. We decided to stop at the Hilton Hotel, which was conveniently located near our meeting point. The Metropole Lounge in the hotel turned out to be the perfect choice for us. The atmosphere was comfortable, the location was ideal, and we were able to find a table despite it being a popular spot. However, we were disappointed by the weak taste of the tea and latte coffee. We also felt that a small complimentary biscuit would have enhanced the experience. Overall, it was a pleasant stop but could have been improved with better beverages and a small snack.

Had a drink and dessert here. Service was fantastic the lady at the bar was so attentive Ordered some deserts as we had, had a big meal earlier the deserts were brilliant.
