Standard Takeaway - Cardiff

After ordering the "standard" option for Valentine's Day with my partner, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was the best curry I had enjoyed in years. The portions were generous and flavorful, not lacking in heat like many other places I have tried. The peshwari naan was perfectly cooked, not overdone or falling apart. The staff member who took my order was friendly and even threw in some extra poppadoms, along with helpful advice on what to try next time. This experience has restored my faith in takeout meals. I have never had a disappointing curry from this restaurant. The food is always perfectly cooked and tastes incredible. The prices are reasonable and there is a good variety to choose from. They also offer a collection service, which is very convenient. This is definitely my favorite Indian takeaway in Cardiff.

I have been buying takeaways from here for over 30 years. I've tried other Indian takeaways since but never as good quality. I currently travel from Mountain Ash to buy, I can thoroughly recommend the lamb madras with onion salad, lamb spinach balti and chicken bhuna. The staff are always polite, the food is very competitively priced, the portions generous and the hygiene rating is excellent.
