Spice Route - Cardiff

Worst place I’ve ever eaten , filthy dirty there , food doesn’t taste right at all , korma didn’t taste like korma , the chicken wings tasted like fish, Seen one of the staff pick a fork up off the floor and place it back on the table . Staff not wearing no gloves and serving food in their coats . Place should be shut down . Awful.

The fact that the place was completely empty at lunch time should of been a red flag in itself to not go in there but we stupidly went in anyway. The worst mistake we could of made. There was hardly any selection of different foods. The food that is there looks like its been sat there ages. The chicken in one of the currys was raw. Since eating in here all 5 of us that are here have had really bad stomachs. While we were sat eating a member of staff was sweeping the floor around the middle of where all the food dishes are and there was dust flying everywhere as it was concrete floor and looked like it had not long been taken up and awaiting new floor. Staff walking round in winter coats looking scruffy aswell. Plates we had finished with stayed on the table for ages and piled up. This was meant to be a nice meal out for a friends 30th birthday but it was anything but and his birthday now ruined from having a bad stomach. Absolute waste of money and would not recommend this place to anyone and will definitely not be returning. Would give a zero rating if I could. Avoid at all cost l.

This place has to be the worst restaurant I've had the displeasure of eating at. Half of the food trays were empty and not refilled while we were there. The food that was there looked like it had been sat there for hours and the korma sauce was actually green! Staff aren't concerned at all when you make a complaint. The empty restaurant says it all really and I should have taken this as a warning sign. This place needs to close as it truly is terrible. Both my husband and I had the most awful stomach ache the following day. Do not eat here!! If I could give a minus rating I would.

Avoid at all cost! The worst buffet I have ever been too! Bad service, food was absolutely disgusting, barely anything there and was not replenished the time we spent there! Waste of money

The food was extremely disappointing; the chicken was undercooked and not up to its usual standard. The service was very poor, and due to this experience, I will not be returning. It was supposed to be a birthday celebration, but unfortunately, it did not turn out that way. I apologize, but I will not be giving this restaurant another chance.
