Spice Island - Cardiff

Visited with my sons. we've been here for years because we sit and take away, and it can't be on scratches. today's meal was brilliant. starter, net, page, beer service excellent. Why can't it be so great all the time?

Had a takeaway delivered this evening after a recommendation from a friend. Very disappointing, it was almost cold and both curries, Tika Jalfrazi and dupiaza were almost the same, only difference was the jalfrazi had single piece of green chilli and a single piece...of pepper, and both were very bland, rice was dry and not fresh and the garlic nann had no garlic. Total waste of I won't be using you again.

After trying to order food online for delivery numerous times but failed, I called the restaurant to inform them and asked if I could place the order with them but was refused due to me requesting to pay by card over the phone and was...informed it was cash payment only.... Disappointed because I wanted to try the quality of food but ended up ordering food from my usual Indian restaurant.... The Shamrat and enjoyed a absolutely amazing meal for four with my family

Ordered a takeaway for myself and Husband What a disappointing meal we had. The whole meal was of poor quality tasteless and cold the rice was stone cold the chips were still hard and undercooked reminded me of reheated chips And the chicken curry sauce...was tasteless. A sheer waste of money this is one place. I won’t be using again and certainly no recommendations from me Diane MacCarthy
