Amazing food and quick service! Pies were absolutely delicious and they also had gluten free options! Staff was also very nice and helpful. Totally recommend.

Super tasty pies at a great deal and atmosphere. Lots of combinations to he had. I loved the feelin' gravy. I'm addicted to British pies and I've seen this place in a few cities and have been wanting to try it out. It did not disappoint. Excellent service, well seasoned, and such a great value.

Before my review I just want to point out that I have no issues with the poor staff at this restaurant, but the shocking management or lack of any form of management. We arrived for a 5:30 booking on a Friday evening to see one staff member on the floor, and one in the kitchen. We were seated in a very tight booth, being larger than a 12 year old child we struggled to all fit in so one of us had to grab a chair and sit on the end of the table. We were seated quickly, but we were waiting 20 25 minutes for our drinks order to be taken. Given that one staff member was seating customers, taking out food orders, taking payments, dealing with Deliveroo Drivers, taking orders and making drinks behind the bar I’m not surprised it took so long. Drinks then took another 15 minutes to arrive, but we received tea with no milk, sugar or tea spoon and I’m still waiting for my jug of water. We asked the kitchen staff for milk and sugar but gave up on the tea spoon. Our food was ready pretty quickly, but was sat under the “hot plate” for probably about 25 minutes. Hot Plate is a very generous term a fart could have kept the food warmer for longer. So many Deliveroo drivers coming and going didn’t help keep food warm. Our food finally arrived (it had been about 45 minutes since we’d entered and we’re all absolutely starving , because the tables are so tightly packed our waitress couldn’t actually get behind anyone to serve food in a proper manner, so serving platters are being passed over our heads. Then my food finally arrives, and the platter tips and an entire gravy boats spills over me. What bright spark decided that metal gravy boats on wooden platters with no grip were a good idea?! We were left to clean the mess ourselves, nobody checking to make sure we were OK or if we needed anything. We had to hunt someone down in the kitchen and were given two measly squares of Blu Roll to clean up with at that was the end of the roll. After cleaning as much gravy off myself as I could, I then go back to my meal which was stone cold. Luckily, the gravy was also cold so I had more chance of getting Frost Bite than being burnt. I doubt anyone would have been able to do anything at all if the food was actually hot edible and I had been burnt so that was the highlight of my night. Terrible service, absolute shambles on behalf of the non existent management, badly run restaurant (who schedules TWO staff in the entire restaurant on a Friday?! inedible food and an awful experience. Clearly a restaurant more focused on Deliveroo than in restaurant meals. Completely ruined our evening plans as I had no desire to go out in Cardiff smelling of Gravy our night out turned into sitting at home trying to get Gravy out of my leggings.

Amazing waitress Beth served us! Quick, efficient and lovely! We will be back! She was amazing. Really good food too, very good for people with dietary needs

Great place, lovely food, we all had a different pie but all were as good as exh other. reasonably priced, staff were very helpful, mention to Beth our waitress.
