Costa Coffee - Cardiff

The atmosphere at this restaurant is pleasant, but unfortunately, the staff are extremely rude and impolite. One particular staff member was especially disrespectful towards my partner and me. As a Chinese person, I felt targeted by their racist behavior as they continuously stared at us. When it was closing time at 4 o'clock, the staff rudely asked us to leave, even though we were just trying to open our umbrellas before heading out into the rain. When I explained this to the staff, they responded with a derogatory remark about my ethnicity. I was shocked and appalled by their insensitivity and promptly left the restaurant. It was very disappointing that Costa would employ someone with such discriminatory attitudes.

This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, but their vegan options are lacking. The Costa Coffee down the street does a much better job of keeping their vegan options well-stocked. It's disappointing that this branch doesn't offer a better selection for vegans.

Stopped in for some food after a convention and the gentleman that served us was attentive and courteous getting our order just right. We had bacon brie panini with cappuccino and iced chocolate milk

Staff extremely unfriendly with kids, bossy and offensive. I felt like because I was a man of colour the staff was being hostile. Kept staring at me and my girlfriend.

Service was fine, shop was clean and modern, but my cortado was very bitter and had far too much foam.
