T-Bones Tex Mex - CARDIFF SOUTH

I decided to have my 40th birthday dinner here as I'm 37 weeks pregnant with just my family who most travelled from Tamworth for. Ive been here many times and bragged to them about how good it is. But unfortunately it was the worst night I've experienced ever. We had a total of 20 people so were seated on 2 tables which is fine but they should let you know when you book in. When we ordered I asked for the kids meals and a bowl of chips come out first. This didn't happen as kids meals come out after the adult meals. Then they forgot my meal and brought out a meal 20min later and it still wasn't what I ordered so I told them not to worry about it, give me my cake so we could go as they ruined my night. The kitchen staff here need to communicate as they stuffed up the meals badly. I don't blame the wait staff at all. Worst 40th birthday ever. 37 weeks pregnant and didn't get to eat anything but my cake.

The staff are super friendly and the meals are quite large. Value for money and very yummy. My son had the big burrito it was as big as a new born baby haha

I hadn't visited T Bones in about 18 months and I'm pleased to say that it has shown great improvement since then. The service was good, the diverse menu options made it difficult to choose, and the meals were delicious and generously portioned. It was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night, but I believe that children eat for free on that day.

Spring Rolls were great and the staff were lovely but if you want Mexican it's a fusion of tex mex so the burrito bowls are full of BBQ sauced meat that overpowers all of the lime and coriander flavours that make it Mexican - generally a bit disappointing.Entree - 2 mains - 2 drinks - $83

Since Wests purchased the old workers club they have done a amazing job at renovating it and adding a great restaurant! Tbones is a fusion of The Chop House & Catina at Wests New Lambton and it's delicious! For sure a rib lovers paradise as the racks are HUGE! In fact all the meals are massive especially the Nachos! Would recommend booking as it's usually packed. Have been a few times and always been delish with meals coming out super fast & hot. As someone who can never decide between ribs and steak the steak and ribs combo is a must! Don't eat lunch because you will need the space for dinner
