They recommended a Bed and Breakfast called El Gustegot in Vascon di Carbonera in Treviso North and said they send all their foreign clients there to stay the night and they all come back the following days with glowing reports. I decided to try the B B. Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by a young mother who spoken a little English, the cat and a very loud dog. She highlighted some important facts; the cost of the room included breakfast at euro 50 a night irrespective of the number of guests staying in the room (a bargain in July), the operation of the lift, which key opened which door, the access codes and passwords of WiFi, and the times of breakfast. She led me to my very spacious room with a balcony with a table and two chairs and showed me the huge bathroom with a fantastic shower that spurted water some 5 differently positioned nozzles – a real treat. The facilities offered in El Gustegot for euro 50 per room per night were truly fantastic. The décor of the B B was in typical Venetian style with a classic brick finish inside and outside, exposed oak beams in all rooms, classic oak doors and very old original authentic terracotta floor tiles. A jewel in the heart of the Treviso wine region.
We were evenings the whole family, we were at the spurious lovadine for sports race of the son... an excellent judgment! professionalism, welcome and sympathy... .a kitchen with dishes of the simple but excellent tradition! Congratulations!
