Gene Garden - Caranzalem

Found this small place in Old Goa, right opposite to Goa Institute of Management and on the shores of Mandovi river. Food was decent and reasonably priced. We had ordered Panner Tikka, Mix veg and Butter Garlic Naan...all were good. Their Serradurra was awesome ! Would recommend for someone who would like to chill out with friends and family and experience a river view.

Its near to GIM(old campus). The food is amazing. You can try anything and it would come taste excellent. The butter cheese garlic naan are to die for. You can eat them without any main couse dish also.<br/ <br/ You can also enjoy the view with boats roaming around.<br/ <br/ The hygiene maybe a concern but the taste will not let you skip it.

We came across this place recently when it was raining heavily and our tummies were screaming of hunger.The best part of the place is the view which overlooks Mandovi river.Though the food is little spicy, but they can make non spicy food also, if asked for and it's good. And the service is also good. Everyone here is happy to serve you.

The place is nicely situated by the river mandovi opposite the management of Goa .The chicken here is spicy and nice , they serve sea food and alcohol too and the food quantity is good .the price is reasonable. The waiters are friendly enough.overall a good place to hangout with friends or family.

The smart location of this excellent restaurant gives takes you that extra mile. Located on the bank of Mandovi, by the old GIM campus, this is a treat to just sit and enjoy the view of this place. The food is reasonably priced and the cheap booze will keep you glued if you like to have a view handy with your beer.
