I love the 5000 Burnet Food Court, and that's a truck I keep getting. For the uninitiated, a arepa is a cornpatty, in this case opened and filled with goodies like a sandwich. There are several filling options, such as pulled pigs or vegetarian beans, and you can add up to two supplements such as a fried egg, avocado or plantains. I recommend the Plantains. Also on the menu are cachapas. Cachapas are sweeter than arepas and filled with a salty Venezuelan cheese that contrasts well with the sweet corn. The traditional cacheapa could function as well as an appetizer or a dessert. Also on the menu are cheese rolls and desserts, but I haven't tried any of them yet. The woman who runs this car is amazingly sweet and thoughtful. She really goes out of her way to make sure you like your food and that you don't have to wait too much time out. 5/5 in service.
The place is still looking decent since I went for last time a few years ago. The prices are really accessible and you can eat almost every Venezuelan meal there, from arepas to cachapas with a big variety of fills. Give it a try
Good Arepas in a kind of safe place in Caracas. Convenient for late eating.
Food is good, we had to eat in the first floor with no A/C and lot of street noise which was very uncomfortable, the only way to tip the waiter is by cash which is almost impossible
