Kloof Street House boasts an eccentric and captivating style and atmosphere! Our Airbnb host recommended it to us, and we decided to return the very next night! The place feels like a blend of indoor and outdoor spaces within a museum, brimming with intricate decorative details. It's a unique and appealing dining spot suitable for various occasions. We highly recommend it!

Our waiter, Kelvin, was charming and efficient. Within minutes, we had our chilled Sauvignon Blanc and our orders were taken. Both starters were fantastic, and we both opted for the steak as our main course, which was very tender and cooked exactly to our liking. The dessert was just as delightful. The restaurant is a wonderful conversion of an old Cape Town house, and the historic black-and-white photos on the walls are worth seeing on their own. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The special menu at R195 each for three courses was an excellent value, and our total bill, including tip, came to R620, making it a highly repeatable experience. We enjoyed a lovely lunch, and many thanks to our waiter, Kelvin.
