Przekaż informację zwrotnąThe service in the atmosphere are pretty decent, but let's get to the chase about restaurants. The number one thing that makes a restaurant is the food. There is a place in California where they purposefully mistreat you for the experience, but people go there for the food because the food is really good. This establishment has 0% good food. Especially with the prices that they charge. It is almost criminal. Every single dish that was served to us was overdone tasteless and rubbery. There were four of us, so that means four out of four dishes were completely and utterly overdone. Do not go to this place. If you want fine dining, you can find better places than this, as of now they are only surviving based on the name that it had made for itself, and from talking to locals after it changed leadership. It's just been downhill from there.
Great ambience, out door seating and really great fresh seafood. Outdoor is order and pickup at the window.
Not what it used to be. We had to send our drinks back twice because the tonic water dispenser wasn’t working. They did serve new drinks without charge. But this used to be a great place. Now just mediocre.
Was sick within an hour of eating a few raw clams and oysters here with dinner, absolutely a nightmare happening still 6hrs later and I’m probably going to have to go to urgent care. Also had the cape may scallops. EDIT: spent the next day in Cape Regional diagnosed with Vibrio from shellfish. It’s now 5 full days later and I’m still suffering.
I prefer going to LH over crab trap. Enjoy a good dinner then walk around. Christmas is my favorite time to go as the town is decorated. Food is good. Service is intimate and friendly. Atmosphere is dimly-lit and nostalgic.
