Cinco De Mayo Mexican - CAPE MAY

Home made chips and tortillas, chicken tamales, fish tacos and chicken/beef fajitas....all well made and delicious, with authentic Mexican seasoning. Not your typical Cape May place....appreciate the family run establishment, aiming to please. Very friendly and accommodating, hard working staff. BYOB. Parking: Behind the restaurant or across the street.

Been here about a dozen times. 5 de Mayo is definitely hit or miss I’d say 80% of the time it’s a decent Mexican restaurant at the beach good selection , good prices good food then there’s the 20% where the chips are stale, service is slow and everything just feel slovenly. The last time we went ?August 2024 things were good chips were fresh guacamole was nicely done and my American chicken tacos were great. Service was good/attentive. We’ll go back this was our first time back in a couple years,

Amazing authentic Mexican food! Great for a casual lunch or dinner. Been here multiple times and it is always fabulous!

60$ for 3 things..things..not meals. Very bland. The potatoes tasted like dish soap a water .. Dos amigo in Rio was great .. 25$ they give you fresh extras.. so why not a CAPEMAY company do so? Charging like that- never again.
