However, while we were inside the restaurant and had already placed our order, we were informed that they had run out of bananas. The server told my husband that they only had half of one left, as the drive-thru had taken the last whole banana, even though we had already paid for our order. We were not offered any refund, just an apology.
When the manager arrived, we explained the situation, but she dismissed us in front of her employee by saying, "Does she not realize that I can’t hear a word she’s saying?" while rolling her eyes about my friend. While we were waiting, the manager also remarked, "I don’t understand why they can’t just Venmo it instead of bothering me about it." Feeling belittled and frustrated, we asked for our cards back and decided to leave rather than continue to be treated poorly. The manager returned our cards but did not give us back the original receipts, and when we requested them, she refused. To top it off, when we got home, our order was completely incorrect. Overall, the manager on duty was terrible. I understand that the fast food industry can be stressful, as I have worked in it myself, but there’s no excuse for the kind of contempt we experienced tonight.
I had a wonderful experience at the drive-thru with a very kind staff member named Tatianna T. I noticed that the prices at Dairy Queen have increased, and she took the time to explain this to me. Although I had some difficulty hearing her, she was patient and spoke clearly when I asked for clarification. I can’t wait to return to DQ soon—definitely a 100 out of 10! I really hope Tatianna will still be there when I come back. ❤️
Drive thru menu said 8.39 and I was charged 11.39. I brought it to the cashiers attention. She said it was because of my large drink but I was charged separately for that, then she said it was taxes but I was charged separately for that also. Then sherefused to help me anymore the line was very long so I left I figured heck it's only $3 when I opened my burger the wrong onewas in box and my fries were cold. Thx DQ!
I called in a panic today because I needed a cake for my son's first birthday due to some unfortunate circumstances with another bakery. Dani was incredibly helpful and assured me that she would do everything possible to get a cake ready in the limited time we had before the party. The cake decorator, Dana, even came in on her day off to create a special cake for my son. Not only was it beautiful and delicious, but they also surprised me with an extra cake for Lincoln's smash cake. The customer service I received today was absolutely fantastic!
