The Calendar Girls perform early in the day, adding to the lively atmosphere. During the winter months, there are even more vendors present, catering to tourists and snowbirds. Although I still visit the market every Saturday in the summer, I wanted to highlight how vibrant it gets during the winter. Be sure to arrive early, as the market closes at 1 PM!
The market features a variety of excellent food vendors, offering fresh produce and a selection of delicious items. You can find desserts, cakes, pies, breads, cheeses, olives, and more. There are even treats for dogs! Additionally, there are vendors selling shoes and shirts, along with live music creating a vibrant atmosphere.
Definitely go! If possible, carpool or take an Uber, as parking can be a challenge. Make sure to explore every stall and engage in numerous brief conversations about all sorts of random topics. Consider donating a dollar to the animal shelter. Most importantly, smile and savor the morning while just being your awesome self!
The store doesn't really offer organic products like you would expect from a market, but it is definitely cheaper than Publix. However, I personally couldn't find anything here that I felt comfortable consuming. I need to look for another market in the area.
This is an excellent farmers market with a wide variety of items to explore, including fresh food, vegetables, and even golf balls.
