I love spicy food, so there was no need to stand for me, but they will choose it for you again if necessary. The owner was really nice and made sure our experience was top notch. One of my Cape Coral favorites!
The owner, Mike, has transformed this small space into a cozy haven that feels just like dining with family. I was initially hesitant to try a restaurant located in a small shopping mall—could it really be good? After experiencing Cajun food in Louisiana, I wasn't sure what to expect. But I took the plunge! Mike learned to cook Cajun dishes from his mother in their home kitchen in Louisiana, and you can truly taste the authenticity in every bite. This is, without a doubt, the best Cajun food I've ever had. During our first visit, we enjoyed both the delicious food and the opportunity to meet Mike. If you get the chance to eat here, don't hesitate! I'm heading to Cape Coral for 15 hours, and I already know where I'll be dining. I only wish I could enjoy this wonderful food more often, but unfortunately, I don't live nearby. Fantastic food, a delightful atmosphere, and wonderful people—this place has it all! You definitely can't go wrong here!
This place has some really delicious Cajun food! I had the Beck's Beef Jambalaya and loved it. My fist had the Crawfish Etouffe, which was also delicious. The food was very tasteful and well balanced. The owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I will definitely try again in the near future!
I visit this restaurant once a week for their amazing pop-pops-pork-macbalaya. They serve a huge portion, and it's truly one of the best dishes in Florida. Every time I come in, Mike, the owner, either greets me with friendly service at the counter or makes sure to check in with each table to ensure that every customer is happy. I had no idea how delicious Cajun food could be until I tried Cajun Bowl. I can’t wait to try the red beans and rice next!
Made the trip all the way from Port Charlotte and boy was it worth it! Authentic cajun cuisine where the decor has just as much flavor as the food. The portions were large, but the taste was even bigger. Owner operator seasons the dishes to your taste from mild to oh my gawd, and he 's just as authentic as the cuisine adding a little more flare to your dining experience. I 'll be adding a trip to the Cape to my weekly dinner routine for sure.
