Emperor Ital Joint - Cape Coast

It is a small restaurant near Cape Coast Castle. Your food is simply amazing!!

I've eaten twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. The restaurant is 100% vegan, which is a pretty amazing find in Ghana. The food is really excellent. The portion sizes are very large and leave almost too full, so make sure you starve. I had the Ghanian stew once and red the other time, both delicious. The only drawback of this restaurant is friends who come and try to sell you paintings. This is somewhat annoying, but the reason I mention it is because the man who this last night was super creepy trying to look at the floor of my friend, touched them several times without their approval and was usually haunted us while we tried to pay and leave. As a result, there was a bit of a damper, which was otherwise a really nice experience in the restaurant.

We had delicious fresh juices for breakfast and came back to lunch

This place is a small wooden handle with two tables and a small kitchen. I had a delicious plate of red that is a common Ghana dish. It is more expensive than the usual street side meal, but the part is huge and they supplement fresh avocado that is a really beautiful and thoughtful supplement! Despite the small place, the service was quite fast and the owner seems friendly and cool!
