Fattoria Maionchi - CAPANNORI

An enjoyable experience. A small independent family run wine tasting experience. Very welcoming and importantly the wine was good and food delicious. Very relaxed atmosphere and no pressure to buy any produce but I did leave with 3 bottles. Good value for money and the location was stunning. Fully recommend. Enjoy.

We toured in July with our 2 teenagers. The wines and the food were delicious. The owners were very welcoming and thorough in explanations.

We were a group of 8 who ventured to Frattoria Maionchi for a wonderful afternoon. Franchesco was the perfect guide, providing the history of the Villa and the grounds and wine making. We tasted 4 different wines and had a terrific lunch. I highly recommend visiting this winery.

We enjoyed a family (20) wine tour and dinner. What a great family run winery. They are very passionate about their wine and very friendly !! Interesting tour, great wines and dinner. Well worth the visit!

We are staying at the old olive press associated with this farm and were recommended to do the wine tour. Our host’s nephew Francesco gave the tour and he was lovely and knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful private tour. The wine is divine, especially the sweet wine Vinosanto. Definitely worth a visit and the purchase of more than a few bottles (we couldn’t walk away without 6!
