We sat down and didn’t receive any acknowledgment from the waitress. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, but it seemed like she was the only one serving both sides of the establishment. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Special night out for our anniversary. Blonde, miserable lady working the bar on 7/3/2023 had attitude with everyone. Extremely rude for no reason to several customers. Talked to us like we were dumb after doing what she asked. Will not go back... ever! First impressions mean a lot! Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Later, after reconnecting with some friends, we decided to return to Stix for food. There was a sign indicating "seat yourself," and I even confirmed with the same inattentive bartender that it was okay to sit anywhere. She agreed. Although there were numerous open tables, they were all dirty and hadn’t been cleared yet. We stood next to one of the tables for a while, waiting for someone to clean it, but no staff were in sight. After waiting for about ten minutes without anyone coming to bus the tables, we realized we couldn't sit down and order. There was no one around to even ask for assistance in clearing a table. Unable to get seated at Stix, we ultimately decided to leave for K-Bar. Fortunately, that turned out to be a great choice, as both the service and food at K-Bar were fantastic.

I’m not sure what it is about bar food, but it’s always a big hit! It’s just good, comforting food without any unnecessary extras. We’re here for a few days, and since our child isn’t quite old enough to join us in the bar, we decided to get some takeout—specifically those Bacon and Cheddar Loaded Fries! Stix impressed us with its cleanliness, bright atmosphere, and friendly vibe. The staff was very accommodating and happy to prepare a takeout order for us, since our kid is a few months shy of 21. And those fries are incredible! A generous serving of house fries topped with crumbled bacon, melted cheddar, and diced green onions—definitely a remedy for whatever ails you! They were also very flexible about modifying the menu, like removing the jalapeños from another dish our child wanted to try. Truly delicious comfort food! Thanks, Stix!
