Malenas Lounge - Canutillo

This place has many delicious options to choose from. Everything at a reasonable price. Will be visited again. We liked her tortas, flutes and the elots.

Really... as a flauta lover since my first Mexican restaurant in Texas many years ago, I have never had one of those mummy! The chicken is perfectly seasoned and not dried, the tortillia is light and airy, even if it fritted. Toped with cut avocados, cotija and sour cream, with an adjacent iceberg salad with fresh tomatoes. The salad was a bit old and too delicious to eat in search of me. The two salsas (a green and crisp, an orange and spciy) went perfectly with every bite. The agua frescas were certainly yummy, both the melon and coconut/pecan maybe a bit too sweet to finish even a whole small, but certainly a beautiful treat. Don't think I'll order a flute again.

We were okay with the food, but the Flautas were too expensive at $6.45 for 4. The little Horchata was not so good and also high at $2.75. We're not sorry.
