O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyard Vintage Restaurant

Had a woodfire pizza included as part of alpaca 30 minute walk around package. Great birthday or Xmas present or romantic fun experience. All staff helpful and surrounds safe and picturesque.

Cannot speak highly enough of this winery. Fantastic day for the whole family with great food, alpacas and exquisite wines in a spectacular setting with gorgeous views. Also has beautiful function rooms for a special event.A must for everyone to visit.

A perfect spot to comfortably drive from Brisbane or the Gold Coast for a relaxing day trip. Easy to find, plenty of parking, wine tasting, restaurant with delicious meals, platters to enjoy in the relaxing gardens, coffee and even BBQ packs to cook yourself on...the banks of Canungra Creek. Plenty of shade with space to throw a ball or lay out a blanket and relax. Even alpacas to feed. Chris, the crazy barman will entertain the crowd while assisting you through the wine tasting and finish the day with one of his awesome afagarto

We booked a picnic basket through the restaurant's website and everything was ready for us to pick up when we arrived. There were plenty of seating options available, including tables by the river bank, among the trees, or on the veranda of the home. We opted for the veranda with a view of the trees. The picnic basket was filled with a variety of tasty foods such as chicken, ham, and salami, fresh salads, cheese bread, pickles, and ice cream for dessert. The food was fresh and delicious. We also chose to add a bottle of wine, selecting a Verdelho from the excellent vineyard on the property. Overall, it was a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting, although it was quite busy during the school holidays.

This review is specifically about the café/restaurant. The prices range from $22 to $30 for meals, with a very limited selection available for takeaway service, although tables and chairs are provided. I ordered the lasagna with chips. The chips were appreciated because the lasagna had a texture like rubber from being microwaved for 40 minutes. I didn't return it as to not upset anyone. My companions had the torte (good filling, but hard crust) and the chickpea curry (nothing special and quite bland). The drinks were excellent, so I had 2 to balance out the meal. The restaurant is beautiful, but the dining experience was not enjoyable.
