Delicious from beginning to end! Starting with the Calamari...oh my...so delicate and tasty. The salmon was perfectly boiled, King Crab legs were excellent and the baked Alaska was divine!
We r vegetarian vegan, and even if we find food in the USA, this must have been the best dinner I've ever had since the move. Absolutely delicious alaskan tofu curry and the cook has taken care of us and made us a delicious fried rice. The blueberry cream soda is the most popular for one reason! Very recommended! Great food, ambience and service. Special screams at our server, who cared for us.
My son and I were at the Overlook Restaurant last night. We arrived about an hour before closing and without reservations. The staff was courteous and we could get a nice window seat. Our server, Josh, was very attentive and easy to converse. He made some recommendations because I didn't know what I wanted to order. For our ducks my son ordered the Alaskan salmon, and I ordered the Curry Alaskan Halibut. Although we ordered our own entrées, we also tried to eat each other. The salmon court was good and there was enough to satisfy, but after my son there was not much food that was not intended for hungry people. I really enjoyed my curry salami court. For me there was more than enough food and the taste was very good. The halibut was good, even without the curry that was under the halibut (with the forbidden rice, carrots and spinach). The carrots in the two dishes were made exactly soft enough, not muddy or undercooked. The curry had mixed some spices (which I liked) and the flavors well together. For Dessert we shared a Baked Alaska that flicks them at the table. That was good. Her Baked Alaska is a chocolate brownie covered with moose tracks ice in a roasted Meringue. After our server (Josh) burned the Meringue, he poured a Heidelsirup over it. Yum!
We came for a second night while in town, and I don?t think a single bad thing was consumed either visits! The salmon and veggies are worth every bite, the crab dip is perfectly savory, the shrimp are wonderfully grilled, and the baked Alaska was so fun! Ask for Joshua he was fun, conversational, and offered great service!
