Pete's - Canton

I observed the management treating some people of color very disrespectfully at this restaurant. I witnessed them speaking to all of us white individuals, but not acknowledging the people of color. I was deeply upset by this behavior. I overheard the staff saying that none of them wanted to serve the black customers. It's disappointing to see such discrimination in America.

When we first walked in, Pete himself greeted us at the door. He and all the staff were friendly, efficient, and quickly took our orders. Our food arrived hot and quickly. I had the Gyro dinner and my mom had the Philly sandwich, both of which were delicious. Despite the lunchtime rush, the staff were efficient and everyone pitched in to keep things moving smoothly. It was a fantastic first experience and I will definitely be returning. After years of searching, we finally found a hidden gem.

I went to a restaurant with my best friend. The food was good and the service was also very good. Unfortunately, I did not have enough money on me and ended up paying with my card. I accidentally ended up paying twice for both of our meals. The total cost was $69.64 and I have not received a refund on my card. I feel like I was ripped off for a simple soup and sandwich. I will not be returning to this restaurant as I do not trust the person running the register.

Not busy when my man and I were there, but our server went from us at least 5-6 times without even recognizing us. we waited approx. 5-10 minutes. eating was hot, but moderate. I ordered the chicken pot cake that had a big taste, but very little to no womb. the crust is no longer a cake crust, but rather like a bread/biscuit pot that was baked and I was not interested at all. disappoint! we'll be back, but we'll stay at the breakfast.

Pete is a great guy. His restaurant serves good food in a friendly environment at a reasonable cost!
