Zaytoona - Canterbury

We left our review against The Olive Grove because it seems to be in the process of taking over and merging with Zaytoona. That said, we had a really good meal here despite the slightly confused circumstances.

Ordered a takeaway. Food arrived very late and cold. We called several times to find out where it was and apparently it was waiting in the kitchen for a driver. We paid over £60 for 2 people and unfortunately the starters were cold and so hard we couldn't eat them. We called again to complain and ask for money off but were told to call just eat. I asked for the manager to call me. Still no call 2 days later. Please dont waste your money here people. All this restaurant does is pass the buck and promise orders they know they can't deliver.

Very weird atmosphere and poor service. After waiting last weekend at lunch time for more than 45 minutes we were told that they have lost our order. We didn't even get an apology, very sad and poor manners. The food was decent in quantity, but quite ordinary in quality. My penne was just about right, but my friend's meal was underwhelming. However after waiting for over an hour for some simple orders we were desperate and would have eaten anything. To sum up a place to forget and never come back again.

Lovely meal with my eldest when brining him back to uni. The service was friendly, questions answered and recommendations given. We ordered the mixed platters and they didn’t disappoint. There was loads to eat so we weren’t left hungry. Will definitely be back

We had lunch at Zaytoona just by chance and really enjoyed it. The food was, on the whole, very tasty and filling and the service good.
