The Golden Lion - Canterbury

We had another amazing lunch at the Golden Lion. Amanda and her staff always greet us warmly. This time, we were surprised with Amanda's latest dessert creation, named after her new grandson. It was absolutely delicious!

The online search for a pub or restaurant with stars for food hygiene and with a covered outdoor area, I decided on the golden lion right outside of canterbury. we celebrated our birthday and needed a place where my man was. that is extremely clinically vulnerable, felt safe to see. the level of the service of the renters to make us comfortable on a rainy day outside was really excellent. the food was excellent: we had a lot of appetizers, including garlic bread and garn cocktail, all very tasty followed by the recommendation of steak and ale cake, which was of a very high quality and absolutely delicious. my son had the lasagne and really enjoyed it. some of us managed the traditional puddings with custard, namely brot and butter pudding and apples and plums crumble. we will certainly visit this pub again when we return to the canterbury opposite. absolutely wonderful.

What a great sound was made to feel very welcome as soon as we went through the door. eating was excellent and cheap and a large selection on the menu I wish only space for the desert as she saw amazing. we stayed in our residential property over night in the parking lot as part of the brit and came back for a second night to try something else on the menu and was not disappointed.

The birthday of the daughter had a brilliant meal. the personal was brilliant. will certainly call again when in kent.

Delicious quality food made by the landlord chef. We had breaded brie as a starter, steak or duck, followed by profiteroles. Excellent service, smiling and friendly waitress. Ability to chop and change on the orders was no problem. Highly recommended.
