The toilets could be better, not really calling it clean. It's not as amazing as these are used by the shopping public as some kind of public toilet. Well, it's nice, usually an action that when you buy a certain book of the month, you get a free coffee.
My wife and I have visited this restaurant three times in the past week to unwind and enjoy a delicious Americano and a cookie! You can also peruse books on the first floor of Waterstones. They offer excellent toasted tea cakes and the coffee is very reasonably priced at £1.90. I believe it is currently the best coffee spot in town. The only downside is that they need more staff to promptly clear tables after customers leave. Overall, I highly recommend coming here.
This café is really good, the service is great and the food is very tasty! You can look out onto the streets of Canterbury whilst you eat, and you are surrounded by books too what more could a book lover want? So lovely, would recommend.
