Cafe W - Canterbury

Coffee angle in the bookstore of Waterstones, coffee's fine here, they have a reasonable search for cookies and cakes. Tables are on the small side. The toilets could be better, not really calling it clean. It's not as amazing as these are used by the shopping public as some kind of public toilet. Well, it's nice, usually an action that when you buy a certain book of the month, you get a free coffee.

13.1.2018.Bought two Ginseng teas,The cups where stained,and when asked for replacement cups ,I was given a less stained cups,When explained allergy's to milk,and ask for cleaner cups,the girl then gave a huff,and the other girl said it's only tea stains,no care for people with allergy's,who wants to drink out of dirty looking cups,the Ginseng tea is lovely and in pot,but wont be going there again,no health and safety standards.The hard seat are school chairs and may look good but very uncomfortable.

My wife and I have visited this restaurant three times in the past week to unwind and enjoy a delicious Americano and a cookie! You can also peruse books on the first floor of Waterstones. They offer excellent toasted tea cakes and the coffee is very reasonably priced at £1.90. I believe it is currently the best coffee spot in town. The only downside is that they need more staff to promptly clear tables after customers leave. Overall, I highly recommend coming here.

This café is a lovely and relaxing spot. The staff are warm and welcoming, always with a friendly smile. I had a delightful cup of hot chocolate and a phenomenal salted caramel brownie. I enjoyed my time reading and savoring the brownie. I will definitely be back again!

This café is really good, the service is great and the food is very tasty! You can look out onto the streets of Canterbury whilst you eat, and you are surrounded by books too what more could a book lover want? So lovely, would recommend.
