Antico Forno Santi - CANTAGALLO

Ideal for a snack. Thousands are perched on a hill, you arrive on a road in the middle of the green, where you can meet little goats. The temperature is pleasant, without the heat of the floor. The Santi oven is a dip in the past, simple, as well as the crushed mortar stuffed, perfect in its simplicity. The fig cantucci, chocolate, almonds... are a coconut for the palate. Friendly staff, honest prices, nice country to take a walk on foot. A tip: it would be nice, from the terrace made available to customers, to enjoy the view of the valley without the side covers. Recommended for a snack dinner outside chaos, genuine and regenerating.

Unfortunately I have never been to Pistoia in person, but as every year I run to the craftsman at Rho almost exclusively for them. Their cantucci are the end of the world, soft and delicious. For me the top is cocoa with big white chocolate pieces like pepite! The prices, at least at the fair, are a little high but in my opinion it is worth it. Really weird recommended!

I'm praying that I wasn't on the spot, but for me their cantucci are a fixed appointment of the craft fair. Different variants (classical, cocoa with white or dark chocolate, with fruit), all one more good than the other. Noteworthy are the bigiarini to love and the ugly but good.. but above all the kindness and enthusiasm of the staff at the stand. Recommended!
