Bar Association Restaurant - Canonsburg

For the first time with a few friends for dinner and drinks here... I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, the quality of food and the exemplary service... I love it, and I definitely go to another meal there...

This is a cool place with really great poutins and a variety of beer options. Canonsburg is small, but loaded with funny little spots, and this is one of the best among them. It feels a little cramped when you go first, and sitting around the bar is claustrophobic, but the actual dining area from the left of the entrance has plenty of space for a group to stretch out. I'm definitely back!

The service was terrible. The young lady waiting for us spoke to her friends. My friend went to the bar to order us drinks and she stood there, chat with a friend and saw photos on her friend phone. After 10 minutes I finally caught her attention and got us drinks. She never came to see if we needed more drinks. Then our food sat under heat lamps for 20 minutes while they looked at them and went right by. Eating tasted good, but I threw up my intestine 4 hours later. I didn't eat anything anymore. For people who would never have been there, you would think they would welcome them. Not here. She totally ignores and waits for her regulars. Take care of the food!!!

We sat at a table with menus. Waitress never came back or made eye contact with us. No drinks were offered and 20 minutes later we went out. Spend less time with the hot cowboy and more time for your job. It won't be back.

Fantastic food, seriously delicious blackberry margarita, fast and friendly accommodating service, and a nice relaxing atmosphere included with opened garage doors for a view of the local city. Stopped in for fresh fries and was not disappointed with the pountine as an appetizer (dairy items on the side). Opted for the crab cake (no dairy fyi) and steak sandwich for dinner and was very pleased. Great flavor, fresh food, relaxed atmosphere, with some cultural notes within the decor. What more could you ask for? A+, will be back if in the area again!
