Tai Thai Fusion - CANNONVALE

The prices are a bit high, and the flavors didn't really stand out. I anticipated better.

This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem! The street food is packed with flavor, and the atmosphere is fantastic. We tried the Tom Yum fried rice, the pork stir-fry red curry, and the ginger basil mushrooms, and all of them were excellent!

The menu is impressively diverse, with plenty of vegetarian options. We ordered the Taiwanese vegan kimchi, beef cheek curry, basil minced pork, crispy spicy chicken, sweet and sour tofu puffs, and for drinks, a mango cider and a Thai beer. The kimchi was refreshing, though a tad too sweet for our taste. The beef cheek curry was interesting; while the meat was tender, the flavor was somewhat bland, and we wished for a bit more spice. The basil minced pork had a nice kick to it, so be cautious of the chili mixed throughout! The crispy spicy chicken was definitely the highlight of our meal—absolutely delicious! We also enjoyed the sweet and sour tofu puffs, although they were a bit dry from being deep-fried; I would have appreciated a bit more sauce to complement them. The mango cider was refreshing and fruity, and the beer was light and pleasant. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the owner even stopped by to chat with us, which was a lovely touch. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend trying this place when visiting Airlie!

I ordered beef cheek red curry and tom yum chicken wings take away. Not really like the taste of the curry but i like the chicken wings. Unfortunately they didn’t cook the chicken pretty well. When I bite the second chicken wing, the meat was still pink and I just lose my apetite seeing the pink color from the chicken. I suggest they have to cook the chicken wings longer or so.
