La Belle Patate - Canmore

I stumbled upon a poutinerie in Western Canada and I couldn't resist giving it a try. It was a delightful surprise and an experience I thoroughly enjoyed.

Break away from the downtown core for this little gem. The food here is outstanding and the service matches it. We had the smoked meat sandwich (worth the money - it's LOADED with meat) and the poutine. It was outstanding. I'm not sure this should be on the cheap eats side of restaurants - it was mid range.

My Husband, myself and 2 dogs visited Canmore on a whim. Eventually time came to eat but we really wanted a place where dogs were welcome on the patio. LA Belle Patate came up as recommended so we went. It was great to see others relaxing outside at the picnic tables with their pooches. And the food was good! We came to find out it is ranked one of the best in Canmore. I huge selection of poutine and fresh burgers. Slightly pricey, however,it's Canmore. Would definitely go back!
