Rotisserie St-Hubert - Candiac

We were on our way home and feeling lazy so we hopped in not realizing the time until we hit the door.

This was our first trip to St-Hubert in LaSalleThere was five adults and one toddler in our group.

Service was great and quick. I went for a late lunch 2-3 pm, the place was pretty much empty which was fine with us.

Beside they forgot to add the cheese in my poutine I ordered and they were able to deliver me another one I wasn't too impress. The only thing I enjoyed was the salad

We visited our grandson who lives locally but we are from USA. I had no knowledge of this chain, it was a recommendation by his mother. We had a late lunch on a Saturday. We were seated immediately, the restaurant fairly empty at the late hour.Our server greeted us right away. If you order from their lunch menu you get a LOT of food, really too much to eat! Let me start with our order of French onion soup. It was not traditional looking with melted cheese across the top of the crock but instead with the multiple cheese used you could see orange & White melted cheese. The broth was extremely tasty with just the right amount of onions and croutons. Can there ever be too much melted cheese? I think not but there was enough!We had a child's meal of chicken, mashed potatoes and creamy cole slaw. He also got dessert, he chose the brownie. We took food home.Adult choices were leg quarter, fries, creamy cole slaw, comments really good.Hot chicken which is 2 pieces of bread with chicken between topped with gravy and peas with mashed potatoes. Every bit eaten!I had chicken pot pie with cole slaw and salad. I chose the vinegar based cole slaw and trust me the creamy is much better. If you order this there is a 20 minute wait time. I felt it was worth it. Very good with chunks of chicken and an appropriate amount of veggies, not just lots of carrots for example.The menu has lots of options and there's alcohol. The restaurant is good sized and really clean. We would return.
